"Be the change you want to see in the world…"
Throughout our lives, we've had the opportunity to meet many great individuals and develop close relationships with organizations that give back. It's hard to be in a people-centered business and not acknowledge the fact that we would not be around without the community that supports us. While all three of us were in college, we participated in philanthropic events to raise money for charity, and we decided that when we started Kaufman Kramer, we would continue to work within the communities that we care about. We will be running numerous promotions to help raise donations for each of these charities. So, keep an eye out for your opportunity to give, and thank you in advance!

Are you a photographer? This charity is perfect for you!
Help Portrait is a movement of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate.
One of the challenging parts of the Help Portrait initiative is finding the right people to photograph. It's not like you can just setup a mobile studio and expect people to find you. One way to reach these folks is to partner with an organization that is already working with foster families, providing support to families, or helps the under privileged.
Most cities have organizations that provide and support the people you are trying to reach. For example, Help-Portrait Atlanta could partner with the Atlanta Union Mission, Hosea Williams, Families First or many others. Some are church-based and others are non-profit.
To find these organizations, use Google to search or quickly flip through the yellow pages and you'll see what organizations are in your area. Also talking with a local church will get you pointed in the right direction.
Look for organizations that support:
Displaced families
Woman of abuse
Foster Kids and Families
Recovery
You could also contact local hospitals, children's hospitals, churches, nursing homes, homeless shelters. The list of possibilities is endless.
You are looking to give portraits to those who wouldn't otherwise get them. The lonely. The sick. The single mom and her kids. The displaced. The orphans. The homeless.
The ones that the world doesn't see.

While Brad was in college at Ashland University, he joined the fraternity of Tau Kappa Epsilon, which supports The Alzheimer's Association. This charity has been near and dear to Brad and it's an organization that we continue to support.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research.
Our mission:
"To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health."
Our vision:
"A world without Alzheimer's disease."

This is a charity that we all see on t.v. and it's one that seriously makes a difference in countless numbers of lives. We don't need much explanation for St. Jude. It's a wonderful organization, and one we hope you'll consider supporting.
